ULTRASONIC FACIAL FAQ
UltraSonic Facials are a safer, gentler, more affordable alternative to dramatic plastic surgery procedures, laser resurfacing, aggressive chemical peels, Collagen and Botox injections and other invasive skin rejuvenation treatments. Ultrasound waves penetrate the skin to cleanse, hydrate, increase circulation, promote collagen production, and kill bacteria. Sound vibrations thoroughly loosen debris from follicles and gently lift dead surface skin cells, deep cleaning pores and exfoliating without irritation. This antibacterial cleansing action helps prevent the onset of acne and blemishes, while also decongesting and tightening pores resulting in fewer blackheads. The sound wave technology is used to penetrate below the surface of the skin, ultrasound energy is absorbed which results in a slight rise in temperature in the surrounding tissue. This promotes cellular renewal and repair, increases blood circulation, encourages lymphatic drainage, combats puffiness and swelling. Sound vibrations also have the power to push nutrient-rich serums deeper into the skin, increasing active ingredient effectiveness. After this treatment, the skin is left feeling instantly energized, rosy, firm, refreshed and noticeably softer.
Results can vary by individual and skin type, and are cumulative, gradually improving with each treatment. We recommend a series of treatments every 2 weeks, then weekly facials to maintain results.
Once you have reached optimal results after a few treatments you can expect the results to last as long as your skin cell renewal cycle which is about 28 days. This is if you stop treatments all together but if you want to maintain the results we recommend you to do weekly Ultrasonic treatments.
Ultrasonic Facials does not hurt and if they do you are doing something wrong. It feels a bit tingly when the scraper touches your skin and if you touch the underside of your nose it will most likely make you sneeze but it does not hurt.
